In an ever-evolving world, traditional healthcare education models may no longer be the most effective. Deeply rooted in the latest science, the American Heart Association’s (AHA) HeartCode Complete programs offer a flexible and efficient way to conduct resuscitation training. Self-paced eLearning is combined with self-directed hands-on skills training to help learners acquire and demonstrate life-saving skills.

Note:  Student that successfully complete the BLS HeartCode Complete course receive the SAME BLS CARD as those that complete the traditional classroom course.

 How it Works:

1.  Register for the HeartCode Complete Course with Madison Memorial Hospital Education.  Once we receive your registration we will build you into this special American Heart Association program.  You will recieve an email notifying you once that has been built and it will contain other useful information.

2.  Complete the online course: Log onto the RQI 1Stop program and complete the cognitive portion of the blended learning course.  This adaptive learning online course is estimated to take 1-2 hours.

3.  Once the "eLearning" portion of the HeartCode® course has been completed, you will schedule a session for the "hands on practice and testing".                        https://koalendar.com/e/rqi-skill-session-with-voice-assisted-manikins

4.  Complete your SELF-GUIDED skill pass off using our special "voice assisted manikin" station.  It is estimated to take less than 30 minutes to complete the hands on session.  Same day appointments are typically available.

Training with VAMs provides students with real-time, objective audio feedback on their performance, adding a new level of realism and precision to CPR training.

Please allow 24-48 hours to receive your course link email.

This course is non-refundable.

Students must complete the cognitive and hands on session within 90 days of course purchase.

ACLS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response.

HeartCode is the official American Heart Association (AHA) self-directed eLearning program allowing students to take the ACLS online as an alternative to the traditional classroom-based courses.

Students that successfully complete the HeartCode ACLS course will receive the exact same card as those that complete the traditional classroom course.

This comprehensive program uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings.  In this environment, students apply their knowledge to patient cases and see the results of their decisions in real time.

Once the online portion of the HeartCode ACLS course has been completed, students practice and test their skills by using the self-directed voice-assisted-manikins (VAM) system available at Madison Memorial Hospital Education department.

Training with the VAMs provides students with real-time, objective audio feedback on their performance, adding a new level of realism and precision to CPR training.

The AHA’s PALS 2020 Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

PEARS® helps healthcare providers develop the knowledge and skills needed for emergency evaluation and treatment of seriously ill infants and children.

PEARS teaches providers how to recognize respiratory distress, shock and cardiac arrest, and provide appropriate lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes of response until the child is transferred to an advanced life support provider. The goal of PEARS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
